Are you as passionate about your work as I am? Styling for Breast cancer Now!

Are you as passionate about your work as I am? It's a true joy for me to share that one of the most unique and beloved projects I have the honor of contributing to is curating The Show for Breast Cancer Now. This special event features 25 inspiring individuals, both men and women, who are living with or beyond breast cancer. These remarkable people are the models for The Show, and while their journey with breast cancer forms a part of their incredible stories, my focus is on showcasing their radiance and style on the catwalk this April 2024. We're not just putting on a fashion show; we're celebrating the essence of life and the transformative power of fashion.

Fashion has a unique way of reminding us of the joy and positivity it brings into our lives. It's fascinating how the right shade of red or the perfect fit can alter our self-perception, influence how others see us, and enhance our self-esteem. Fashion is indeed a powerful force.

For The Breast Cancer Now The Show, I focus on the upcoming trends for SS24, ensuring that each model's personal style and preferences are reflected in their outfit, while edging them out of their comfort zone. It's essential that they feel confident and joyful as they grace the catwalk. Our aim is to create moments where they can wear outfits they might not normally have the chance to wear, evoking the glamour of a red carpet event or the thrill of wearing an exquisite evening gown by designers like Suzanne Neville or Zandra Rhodes.

I collaborate with brands that support Breast Cancer Now, as well as a selection of my favorite brands eager to contribute to The Show. It's a fantastic opportunity to unite a diverse range of designers and brands in a deeply meaningful and personal event. Everyone has a story, a connection to someone they know who has or had breast cancer.

Marie (age 38) took part in theThe Show 2023, to show that breast cancer can happen at any age and ‘there is light at the end the tunnel.’” BCN

Angela: “Do it! It will be something wonderful that has come out of real despair! You’ll see so much strength and support, with all the models saying ‘yes’ to life” BCN [2023]

Mita [2024]” My story is not of sadness, but of hope, transformation and one woman’s quest to live with purpose, gratitude and joy.”

This fashion show stands apart from any other I've had the pleasure of working on. It's a celebration of life, love, and joy, bringing together a community to share in these powerful stories of resilience and hope. Witnessing the journeys of our models is a privilege, and it's a profound reminder of the strength and beauty inherent in each of us.
